Top Looks from the 2025 Detroit Auto Show Charity Preview

The Charity Preview returned to Huntington Place in January, and as is tradition, brought the snow with it. But inclement weather never stops the attendees from turning out in grand style to get a sneak peek of the vehicles at the Detroit Auto Show and raise money for a variety of children’s charities across southeast Michigan. Here are some eye-catching outfits from the evening.

Grace Heslip, Commerce Twp.

For the past 10 years, designer Janna Coumoundouros of Clawson has created a gown for Charity Preview made from Troy-based Inteva materials that is worn by a model (this year Grace Heslip) at the event.

Raymond Hill, Detroit

When he saw this unusual bowtie and pocket square at Fashion International in Southfield, Raymond Hill knew he had to wear it for Charity Preview.

Sabrina Nelson (left), Detroit, and Jessica Care Moore, Detroit

Artist Sabrina Nelson, who just had a solo show at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and jessica Care moore, Detroit’s poet laureate, love shopping local, with almost every piece of their outfits were purchased at The Peacock Room except for the top hat, which came from Flo Boutique, both stores in Detroit.

Sally Moore, Detroit

When asked why she chose a Western-themed ensemble for the evening, Sally Moore quickly explained, “Cowboy Carter, baby. Can’t lie, halftime got me,” referring to Beyonce’s performance during the Christmas day Texans/Ravens game.

Lisa Gray, Northville

Lisa Gray’s chic look was built around the coat found in London then injected with her personality through her favorite accessories: glasses, earrings, and a scarf.

Patty Ghesquiere, Bloomfield Hills

Patty Ghesquiere wears this sparkly Lions shirt — a gift from her husband — for every game. And she says every time she wears it, they win.

The business partners, who plan events for Ford Motor Co. and Lincoln, both agree they have an affinity toward fashion, with a special love for blazers.
