Triple H hints at Tyrese Haliburton appearance
Will Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton be at the 2025 Royal Rumble on Saturday?
Before WWE Smackdown on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, chief content officer Triple H (born Paul Levesque) spoke to fans with Haliburton and former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee on stage. Triple H hinted at a possible Royal Rumble appearance for Haliburton, a big WWE fan.
“As I’m thinking about the Royal Rumble, it makes me think just about anybody could enter the Royal Rumble as a surprise,” Triple H said as he turned to Haliburton. “Got a minute?”
“Let’s go,” Haliburton said.

The Royal Rumble will occur at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Haliburton and the Pacers play the Atlanta Hawks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 5 p.m.

WWE has announced four matches for the event, which includes a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match. Last year’s Royal Rumble show ended with the men’s match, so Haliburton could potentially participate. He said on Friday that he would make his way over to Lucas Oil Stadium for the show after his game concludes.

What is the Royal Rumble?
Royal Rumble is a 30-wrestler match in which two wrestlers begin in the ring, and another enters every 90 seconds. A wrestler is eliminated when he or she goes over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The winner is the last wrestler remaining in the ring, and he or she earns a berth in a world championship match at WrestleMania 41 on April 20 in Las Vegas.
