LOS ANGELES – USC Men’s Basketball (11-6, 3-3 Big Ten) returns to Galen Center in hopes of extending their win streak to three as they take on No. 24 Wisconsin. USC is 2-0 against the Badgers in Los Angeles, although the Trojans have an overall record of 2-2 against Wisconsin.
LAST TIME OUT
The Trojans came home after playing two games in the Midwest to take on the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. USC was first on the board and made sure to never let up the lead. The Trojans kept one of the top offensive teams in the country from surpassing them in points. Even though the Hawkeyes went on a small run during the second half, it wasn’t enough to steal the win from the Trojans as USC came out with the 99-89 win.
Desmond Claude had another great performance for the Trojans as he secured 25 points and nine assists. During this game, Claude also recorded his 1,000th career point. Three other Trojans finished in the double digits as well, and they were Saint Thomas, Wesley Yates III and Chibuzo Agbo. Thomas was second on the team in scoring with 24 points, Yates was close behind with 21, and Agbo rounded out the double-digit scoring with 18. Rashaun Agee had a great defensive game as he snatched a team-high 10 rebounds.
