I have a curved 34" LG monitor so right off the bat I started on a bad note. I know the description says up to …
Neat concept for non-vesa monitors. I have a curved 34" LG monitor so right off the bat I started on a bad note. I know the description says up to 30" But I decided to try anyway. I got it too work, however there could be improvements made to the assembly of this product. The hardware could be improved to ease installation, this has nothing to do with my monitor being out of the recommended specification. My monitor is thick at the apex of the curve. The mounting brackets would not fit at an angle so I ended up setting the top brackets at an angle, while the bottom ones were set vertically, this gave me enough stretch to clamp on to my monitor. The kit comes with two size bolts for thicker monitors. I ended up using the longer ones and they were still a tad short but I got enough thread (about 8 turns) to secure it in place. Wasn't a fan of the screw, nut and washer for mounting brackets to vesa mount. I think a hex bolt with a slot would have eased installation. Problem is that you have to hold the bracket in place, while holding a screw driver for the screw and a crescent wrench for the nut. 1 star off for ease of installation. My second problem with this is the feet that clamp on the monitor. I think they could have shrunk these down, they are just a tad thicken so they look a bit bulky. on my monitor, specially since my monitor is nearly bezel-less at the top. It didn't bother me that much that I would take it off, but there are people out there who will probably have a problem with this.So there it is, got it too work with some jiggling, again the hardware selection could have been better and design could definitely improve. However, there aren't many selections out there for non-vesa monitors so I will take it. I love having the room on my desk since wife only gave me a corner of the home =).

Bottomline: This VIVO VESA Adapter kit is an great, simple, well engineered product that's not hard to install (20 minutes in my case) and results in a very solid mount. Plus it cost $4 less than the primary competition and was shipped free, without state tax to Florida.

My Samsung 27" monitor lacks a VESA mount. So I needed an VESA adapter that would accommodate the curved back on this monitor for mating to my Halter Dual LCD Adjustable Monitor Stand [http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MH9F5HK].

I studied the images and reviews of all alternatives products and then chose this mount, which, by the way, has sold 150+ units on EBay at the same price as Amazon. I bought mine here.

The exact arrangement of the four connector arms is adjustable and driven by the configuration of your specific monitor. The vital factors are (1) thickness of the monitor at it edges, (2) monitor's overall height, and (3) the location of the monitor's controls and cable connections. you need to verify those for your application. The images really help.

All the required hardware is included and neatly packaged. Product fit and finish are good. Just need a Phillips screwdriver for the four screws and a wrench or socket (7mm or 9/32") to snug down the 6 or 8 nuts (depending on your specific arrangement).

Installation is easy if you use the images and measurements to select the specific arm configuration that accommodates the vital factors in the paragraph above for your monitor. Installation took me 20 minutes and the resulting mount is very solid. Meanwhile, after a few days daily use and periodically thereafter, I plan to check the screws and nuts for continued snugness.

Overall: a great product, fair price, easy to install

VESA mount kit worked perfectly on my Samsung 24" 1080P monitor. It didn't have the mount on the back, had a much too thin construction for that. I was afraid the clamps wouldn't hold tightly on the back of the monitor but at the last tightening of the screw it ended up fitting perfectly. If there's a monitor any thinner than mine, it could be problematic and sit loosely in the 4 brackets, just a warning. For me, it was perfect. A little complicated to get it worked perfectly straight and aligned with my other monitor, an LG 144hz monitor, but once I got it in place and tightened, voila! Perfect fit. It's not an elegant solution (I honestly hate the arms sticking out of the sides) but it's way cheaper than buying a new monitor!

I ordered two of these sets for my dual monitor setup, a Vivo dual desk mount, and Vivo PC wall mount to match. For the most part, everything assembled easy and the quality of most parts was very good. Overall, their products are great after a couple days since initial install, and deserve their own good reviews. (Which I hope to get to eventually)

The only hiccup worth mentioning is the threads holding the plastic hooks on the monitor. 7 out of the 8 bracket threads were poorly done, and needed either side drilled out to reach the good threads in the center. Without prep for this, it was very frustrating, and I was only able to get enough for one monitor done to where I felt it was safely secure.

The last 4 brackets I had to drill out completely and use hardware not provided, and put completion back a day or so. Not a big deal, but like I said, frustrating without knowing and also seems very avoidable. They don't require a ton of torque to be safe, and I'll continue to monitor them for any unforeseen issues.

Still, everything else was great and make my set up so much cleaner.

The paperwork claims that it can have the top 2 set in WIDE and the 2 bottom hold only the bottom when the bottom and top INNER CORNERS are 27" with another bit of size due to the WIDE BEZEL in the image. My monitor is 22.XX inches.. almost 23" with a small bezel and I had the top right reach the side and the other top bar left 9 inches where it couldn't reach… Even though the brochure shows a wide screen ( and mine is 1920×1080 so standard screen size nowadays ), it would only be able to reach on the sides if the monitor was 4:3….

On top of this, a vital piece was missing so I had to assemble it on the damned mount which was hell – it doesn't include the square bracket ( which is vital in one of these kits so you can attach your monitor in peace and then hang it because my mount has the top 2 holes open so you can easily put the screws in and then hang it..

On top of this, the instruction photos were hell to understand – you couldn't understand them. Basically they show a photo of the plastic holders mounted on one side of the bar and on another photo they show them on the other side – I mounted them where the bar was lifted and tapped with a built in nut.

I wish I could give it 0 stars.

I have an older 1080p Samsung monitor that I've had forever, I replaced it with an Ultra Wide monitor as my primary screen, but I moved it to an arm on the side of my desk. The mounting arms work okay-ish. I can move the monitor around on the arm fine, but I'm still uneasy about it. The threading in the posts on each arm aren't great, it feels like you're cross threading them with how tough they get to turn after only a little bit of tightening. Plus it seems like the set of screws an washers might be a bit small for these arms.

Overall the arms are okay. But I probably won't buy them again if they break.

Great Product if Used Right !

Reviewed in Canada on January 9, 2023

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but if you install this properly with the legs straight holding the bottom of monitor ,you can spread out the top ones to the corners. I put some padding between the clips and the actual monitor just to be safe. It is very sturdy and Monitor does NOT move or slide. Just be careful not to tighten the clips to much , it will crack your monitor , but that is a given! I love this and saved me from having to return my monitor I had just purchased, as the monitor did not have the attachment on the back for my arm. ( I use multiple monitors for my work ). Also make sure your clips on the bottom are straight down in the back, so you can still use your monitor buttons along the bottom of your monitor! I give it 5 stars !!

Complicado de armar pero cumple muy bien su funcion

Reviewed in Mexico on November 9, 2020
