Still Great after 3+ Years!
I've been using this dual monitor stand for over 3 years and it's been GREAT!My monitors are both 27", and weigh 11 pounds each.Note: when you are setting this up, move the Allen wrench counter-clockwise (towards the -) all the way. Then move the arm to be perfectly horizontal, with the arm holding the monitor.Then keep moving the Allen wrench clockwise (towards the +) *only until the monitor stays in position as you move it up and down*.Don't do what I did and simply tighten it all the way. That won't work. When I tightened it all the way, it wouldn't stay down.

    This isn't the most premium monitor arm you can buy, but for the price point, I think you know that.

    I was specifically interested in this one to try a stacked monitor setup, and this one supports that as well as more conventional arrangements, so I felt good about purchasing it.

    This has worked well for the multiple 27" and 32" monitors that I've thrown on and rotated around on the arms over the years. The cable management isn't great, as I can only feel safe pushing around 2 cables per arm through the holes, but what it has still cleans up my desk quite a bit.

    I have this attached to a beveled desk, so I do use the WALI reinforcement plate alongside the arms, and it's worked perfectly.

    I had originally reviewed this item as having stability issues, and it does tend to lean a bit with the clamp. However, I since drilled a hole in my desk to permanently mount this using the bolt solution. This was even more wobbly, and I originally gave this a low rating. I'm increasing to four stars because I've determined my cheap quality IKEA desk is at fault for the stability problems in my situation, NOT the mount. Upon closer inspection, I found that the actual desk top is hollow particle board and is beginning to warp from the excessive tightening on my part as well as the tremendous weight of both monitors. My desk appears to be close to structural failure and I've decided to just put the monitors back on the original manufacturer stands and place them on risers until I can get a decent solid wood desk and use this mount system once again. Overall, this mount seems to be decently made, and I did not have any trouble adjusting lift pressure with the included tools. Instructions were easy enough, but you may benefit from having a friend assist you with assembly, as it can get a little awkward doing it alone. My only suggestion for design improvement would be maybe adding a wider base plate and/or grommet plate underneath to distribute pressure more evenly across the desk surface for users with this or a similar desk. Again, the mount is good, my desk stinks.

    The Instructions are good…READ THEM

    I admit I almost gave this a low rating and was mad I couldn't return it due to the window being over. Out of the box, the stand is uncalibrated and cannot hold the wait of a basic monitor. If you attach your monitor, it will fall to the table and you will feel sadness. And this is because, you didn't read the instructions, and I would dare say most of the low ratings didn't either.

    Step 8 shows you how to tighten the springs in the arms. Once tightened, these arms are incredibly sturdy and I currently have two 11.5lb, 32in monitors hanging from them. I'm not sure how I feel about the motion and sturdiness but it seems solid, good quality, and while the monitor does shake just a little when you sit down, I think this is relatively normal for a heavy object hanging from an arm.
    Overall- a good buy.

    Just pass on this thing. Spend a little more money and get a better one. As I'm typing this review, my monitor is bouncing up and down.

    I really really want to like this monitor stand. It has a lot of the features I was looking for, but sadly it just fails at it's job. I have a 32" and a 30" monitor attached to it (max is 32"). Both are less than the maximum weight limit by multiple lbs. BUT, the monitors keep tiling downward. The manual says to adjust the tilt tension screw, but when I do it feels like it's as tight as it can go, so that's no help. I had to really really crank on the gas spring tension to get the monitors from slamming down onto my desk under their own weight (which again, is less than the maximum). So basically, this monitor stand has one job – holding up monitors – but it can't even do that right. If you have some tiny little 20" monitors, it'll probably work great. But if you have anything approaching the 32" max, it just won't work well for you.

    The monitors bounce all over the place just from simple typing. They basically wont hold any angle that you set. As I'm writing this the screen has tilted forward about 10 degrees and rotated clockwise about the same. It's just not a good product. I will be returning it for a better one.
