Wet and cold conditions linger for the Gulf Coast

Scattered rain will impact the Gulf Coast overnight and throughout Wednesday.

THAT’S THE VERY LATEST IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA. AIR FOR US. BACK TO YOU. IT’S PUT HAVE. YEAH, A LOT OF PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IN AND THEN THOSE OF US THAT ARE ORIGINALLY FROM AREAS THAT IT SNOWS. YOU THINK, AL, I’M HEADED OUT TO BUT IT’S NOT THE SAME ROAD CONDITIONS BECAUSE WE DON’T SALT THE ROADS. WE DON’T TREAT THE ROADS. SO IT SAYS IT’S SO MUCH MORE DANGEROUS AND YOU GO OUT THERE THINKING, OH, YOU JUST GOTTA. >> GO SLOW. KNOW YOU’RE GOING TO SLIDE LEAST I’M GLAD WE’RE NOT DEALING WITH IT, BUT IT IS KIND OF NICE. IT’S THOSE KIDS UP IN THE PANHANDLE. I MEAN, HAVING SO MUCH TO MUCH. I’VE SUCH A CORE MEMORY OF THE BLIZZARD OF 92 IS KIND OF WHAT GOT ME INTERESTED IN WHETHER TO BEGIN SO I’M SURE THEY’RE JUST KIND OF HAVING THE TIME OF THEIR LIFE UP. THERE’S HOPEFULLY IT WON’T SAVE THE ONE THING THAT’S INTERESTING AND COULD BE PRETTY DANGEROUS GOING FORWARD AS THE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE SLOW TO RISE. THEY DON’T GET INTO THE 40’S UNTIL THURSDAY. NOW THEY WILL SEE A LOT OF SUNSHINE TOMORROW, BUT THAT SNOW MIGHT BE SLOW TO MELT AT LEASE, ESPECIALLY IN SOME GRASSY AREA. SO HOPEFULLY THOSE ROAD CONDITIONS CAN START TO GET BETTER AND IMPROVE. SO PEOPLE GET BACK ON THE ROAD SAFELY AND GET TO WHERE THEY NEED TO BE GIVEN ANY EMERGENCIES OR JUST MAYBE FOR SOME GROCERIES. ALL RIGHT. HERE’S THE LATEST ON RADAR. SO THE SNOW WILL START TO TAPER OFF IN FLORIDA BY TOMORROW MORNING. IT’S THAT PINK STUFF THAT THAT FREEZING RAIN WHEN FREEZES ON CONTACT ON THE GROUND. THAT’S THE MESSY STUFF. BUT THEN ONCE YOU HEAD SOUTH OF GAME, GAINESVILLE. IT’S ALL RAIN. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SOME PRETTY CHILLY WEATHER TOMORROW MORNING. TOMORROW WILL BE BLUSTERY IN THE MORNING. COLD WEATHER MOVING ON IN TEMPERATURES START TO MODERATE. BUT THEN WE GET ANOTHER COLD BLAST OF AIR BY SATURDAY MORNING. THAT WILL BE OUR COLDEST MORNING OF THIS SEASON SO FAR. WE’LL TAKE A LOOK AT THOSE NUMBERS COMING UP IN JUST A MOMENT. SO FOR TONIGHT WILL DROP DOWN INTO THE UPPER 40’S ALREADY SEEING THE 40’S IN SOME AREAS. AND THEN BY THE AFTERNOON TOMORROW WILL INCREASE BUT NOT MUCH WERE HEADED TO JUST SHY OF 60 DEGREES FOR THE AFTERNOON TOMORROW MORNING. WE ARE GONNA HAVE TEMPERATURES FEELING INTO THE 30’S FOR DESOTO COUNTY. THAT’S WHY THAT COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN PLACE FOR DESOTO COUNTY AND DESOTO COUNTY. ONLY WITH THAT WIND FACTORED IN. IT’S GOING TO FEEL IT ABOUT 36 DEGREES WITH WINDS GUSTING UP TO SAY 20 MILES PER HOUR THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. AS FAR AS RAIN IS CONCERNED, LIGHT RAIN THROUGH 3, 5 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING OR THAT KIND OF SCATTERED SHOWERS FOR THE MORNING. I WAS EVEN UP THROUGH ABOUT 8.30. IF YOU’RE ON THE ROADS TOMORROW MORNING. EXPECT THINGS TO BE ON THE SLIPPERY SIDE AND CHILLY AND BREEZY. IT’S NOT VERY COMFORTABLE. THAT’S FOR SURE. BY 11 O’CLOCK. A LOT OF THOSE SHOWERS START TO MOVE FARTHER TO THE SOUTH. SO LITTLE OPPOSITE OF WHAT HAPPENED TODAY TODAY, THE SHOWERS MOVED OFF TO THE NORTH TOMORROW. THEY’RE GOING TO MOVE OFF TO THE SOUTH, DRIER BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT, STILL CLOUDY AND CHILLY. WE GET A FEW MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR RAIN ON THURSDAY, BUT JUST NOT AS MANY AS WHAT WE’LL HAVE FOR TOMORROW. SO SOME NEEDED RAIN FOR TOMORROW. IT’S JUST UNCOMFORTABLE. RAIN FOR SURE. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE CURRENT TEMPERATURES ARE MOVING ON IN WITH THAT COLD AIR. IT’S ONLY 47 DEGREES IN ARCADIA SAYS THAT FRONT EDGE OF THAT COLD AIR PUSHING ON IN. IT’S STILL INTO THE 60’S. NOT TOO BAD FOR MARCO ISLAND ARE GOLDEN GATE. BUT TOMORROW AGAIN, NOTICE SOME CHANGES. HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT TOMORROW MORNING 46. WE START TO INCREASE THE OVERNIGHT LOWS FOR THURSDAY. THEN COLD AIR IS REINFORCED BY ANOTHER COLD FRONT. WE ARE DRIER ON FRIDAY, BUT IT’S SATURDAY MORNING. I WANT TO BRING YOUR ATTENTION TO. WE COULD HAVE SOME FROST AROUND THE REGION, WIDESPREAD FROST. SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND. THEN THE WARM-UP BEGINS. ONCE WE GET PAST SATURDAY MORNING, TEMPERATURES WILL START TO INCREASE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND AT NIGHT AS WELL BY MONDAY AND TUESDAY MORNING, WE’RE ALREADY APPROACHING YOUR 80 DEGREES BY THE AFTERNOON WITH ABOVE AVERAGE OVERNIGHT LOWS TOMORROW MORNING. 43 IN ARCADIA FEELING INTO THE MID 30’S MID TO UPPER 40’S FOR AREAS ELSEWHERE. BUT THEY HAVE TO NOON TOMORROW. 58 AGAIN IS PRETTY GUSTY IN THE MORNING. A LITTLE BIT QUIETER FOR THE AFTERNOON, BUT CLOUDY, BREEZY HIGH TEMPERATURES AT 58. THESE ARE NOT NORMAL NUMBERS, NOT NORMAL CONDITIONS FOR FLORIDA’S SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, THE GULF COAST AND SPECIFICALLY THE PANHANDLE TO WHEN DOES THE SUMMER TERM FRIDAY. WE’LL SEE A LOT MORE SUNSHINE ON FRIDAY. SURPRISED WE SEE A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE HERE THERE ON THURSDAY, BUT MORE SO FOR FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND. BUT WHAT A TURNAROUND SUNDAY WITH 75 DEGREES BY THE AFTERNOON.
