As we approach the end of the year, many North Texans are wondering what kind of weather they can expect as they ring in the new year. Will it be a chilly winter wonderland or a warm and sunny start to 2022?

According to meteorologists, it looks like North Texas will be experiencing unseasonably warm weather as we head into the new year. While winter typically brings cooler temperatures and the possibility of snow, this year seems to be bucking that trend.

Temperatures are expected to be above average for this time of year, with highs in the 60s and 70s throughout the region. There may be some cooler days mixed in, but overall, it looks like North Texans can expect a mild and pleasant start to 2022.

So, if you were hoping for a white New Year’s Eve, you may be disappointed. But if you’re ready to trade in your winter coat for a light jacket, then you’re in luck. Get ready to enjoy some outdoor festivities and start the new year off on a warm note.

Whether you’re planning to attend a New Year’s Eve party or just relax at home with loved ones, be sure to take advantage of the beautiful weather and make the most of the last days of 2021. Cheers to a happy and warm new year in North Texas!
