CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Sunday and Monday in all counties within the Greater Cincinnati Area, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.
The weekend will be cold, with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens. Saturday will be dry, with snow on the way Sunday.
Cold air into Sunday means that road surfaces will be cold enough for snow to stick in the evening into Monday afternoon, especially in the southern counties of the Tri-State.
At this time, snow accumulation will likely be 5 to 9 inches; however, any change in forecast could reduce or increase those numbers, the Weather Team says.

Students are expected to return to school on Monday, but parents should prepare in case schools close. Travel issues will be likely.
Once the snow ends, there will be some blowing snow, and re-freezing could be a problem overnight into Tuesday morning.
Tuesday looks dry and cold, with a high temperature of 25.
