Woods Wastes No Time Recruiting 5-star Alabama Transfer
A big-time talent from Alabama is now in the portal.
Crimson Tide linebacker Jeremiah Alexander has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Alexander hails from Thompson High School (Alabaster, Ala.) — the same school that Clemson defensive lineman Peter Woods attended. The two were teammates at Thompson, and both were rated as five-star prospects (Alexander in the 2022 recruiting class, Woods in the 2023 class).
Shortly after the reports of Alexander entering the portal, Woods took to social media with the following post:

Alexander, who spent three years at Alabama, began his career with the Crimson Tide in 2022 when he appeared in four games with one tackle while redshirting. An inside backer, Alexander moved to the outside to start the 2023 season, when he totaled three tackles in 14 games, primarily on special teams. In 2024, he missed the first three games of the season recovering from injury and posted five tackles in 10 games.
The 6-foot-2, 249-pounder was the nation’s No. 1 edge defender and No. 18 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite.

Former Alabama wide receiver, Jacorey Brooks, announced his decision to transfer to the University of Georgia on Monday, and head coach Kirby Smart wasted no time in recruiting the 5-star talent. Brooks, a native of Miami, Florida, was one of the top recruits in the country coming out of high school and made an immediate impact for the Crimson Tide during his freshman season.
Smart, known for his ability to develop and showcase top talent, has already begun working with Brooks to integrate him into the Bulldogs’ offense and make the most of his exceptional skills. With Georgia’s depth at the wide receiver position, Brooks will have the opportunity to compete for a starting role and contribute to what promises to be a dynamic offensive unit.
Fans are eagerly anticipating Brooks’ debut in the red and black, and are excited to see how he will help lead the Bulldogs to success in the upcoming season. With Woods wasting no time in recruiting the standout receiver, it’s clear that Georgia is committed to building a championship-caliber team and maximizing its potential on the field.
