WWE News: Ishowspeed Confirmed for Royal Rumble Appearance

Popular (and controversial) YouTuber Ishowspeed has accepted an invitation from WWE chief Paul “Triple H” to appear at the upcoming Royal Rumble and it is anyone’s guess what the social media star will do this time.

During a recent live stream, while IShowSpeed was in Uruguay for his South American tour, Triple H called in to personally invite him to the Royal Rumble, taking place on February 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Triple H not only invited Speed to the event but also gave him full access to stream throughout the Royal Rumble, including backstage and from the coveted Gorilla Position.

Speed, ecstatic at the offer, immediately confirmed he’d be there, responding with his signature enthusiasm, “I’m gonna be there.”

He even joked about wanting to stream alongside WWE legend John Cena, prompting a playful response from Triple H: “If you can see him, you can stream him.”

Fans can expect plenty of shenanigans from IShowSpeed as he takes full advantage of his backstage pass and streams his experiences live.

This marks a significant return to WWE for the content creator, who made waves at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.

During that event, Speed was dressed as the Prime energy drink mascot, appearing in the United States Championship match between Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton.

In a viral moment, IShowSpeed tried to assist Paul but ended up taking an RKO from Orton on the announcer’s table, leading to a sore neck and a major social media buzz.

That stunt was part of a larger collaboration initiated by Speed’s team during a PRIME energy photoshoot, which saw Paul and WWE work together to pull off the surprise. As a token of appreciation, Paul even gifted IShowSpeed a Tesla Cybertruck.
