A WWE tag team may be set to break up soon following the announcement of an upcoming PLE championship match.
Tonight’s episode of NXT kicked off with a big women’s tag team match, pitting NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and Bayley against Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, with Bayley scoring the victory over Cora Jade.
Later in the night, Roxanne and Cora approached Ava backstage as she was about to announce an NXT Women’s Championship match for Vengeance Day, where Roxanne said she hasn’t yet got her rematch for her title.
However, Ava instead announced that Giulia would defend the titles in a Triple Threat match against both Roxanne and Bayley.
Roxanne was content with Ava’s announcement, saying that it was ‘good’, but Cora Jade disagreed, saying that ‘we’re not good’ before storming off as Roxanne pleaded to her.
The segment was seemingly setting up a future break up of Roxanne and Cora amid speculation of Roxanne moving to the main roster.
