ATLANTA — After widespread wintry precipitation fell across metro Atlanta Tuesday, the concern now turns to moisture freezing onto roads and bridges.

While the Georgia Department of Transportation has been treating interstate and major state roadways since Sunday in advance of the winter weather, numerous crashes and incidents were reported on Georgia’s interstates and state routes since snow fell.
