We’re down to the final two weeks of the season, and there are four playoff spots (one in the AFC, three in the NFC) and five division titles there for the taking. We begin with the AFC wild-card picture, where the Chargers punched their ticket Saturday with a win over the Patriots. The Broncos can join them if they beat the Bengals, who are still alive for the final spot in the AFC.
As we head into the final stretch of the NFL regular season, the playoff picture is starting to come into focus. With only a few weeks left, every game becomes crucial for teams vying for a spot in the postseason. Here’s a look at the updated chances and projections for teams in the race:
AFC:
1. New England Patriots (11-2) – The Patriots have already clinched a playoff spot and are currently the top seed in the AFC. With a strong defense and an efficient offense led by quarterback Mac Jones, they are the favorites to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

1. Green Bay Packers (10-3) – The Packers are currently the top seed in the NFC and are led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is having another MVP-caliber season. With a strong defense and a potent offense, they are the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
2. Arizona Cardinals (10-3) – The Cardinals are currently the second seed in the NFC and have one of the most explosive offenses in the league. With quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins leading the way, they have a good chance of making a deep playoff run.
