Ocala Police warns residents about fake posts claiming a couple of serial killers are on the loose


OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Ocala Police are pushing back against what they say are fake posts claiming a couple of serial killers are on the loose.

Officers pointed to a post claiming that a couple named Ryan Edward and Alice Chapman killed three female officers in Ocala.

The post claims that they pretend to be homeless to get sympathy, mostly from elderly people.

But, police officials say it’s completely fake and urge residents to check for official statements or information from credible news outlets.
