  • WWE’s Logan Paul Set To Star In Reality Show On The Same Service That Streams AEW

Earlier this week, Logan Paul sent out a cryptic graphic of himself and his brother Jake (via X) alongside the caption “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27 on [MAX].” Naturally, many fans assumed this post to be an indicator of an upcoming fight between the brothers. As revealed in a Warner Bros. Discovery press release, it was rather a teaser for a new reality series.

The series, titled “Paul American,” will be a MAX original, with its premiere date set for Thursday, March 27. From there, the weekly series will chronicle the lives of Logan and Jake Paul across eight episodes up until its series finale, which is penciled in for May 15. Footage will show a mix of never-before-seen and archival content.

“Everyone thinks they know Jake and Logan Paul – they’re the original superstars of influencer culture and built their brand on being unfiltered. But PAUL AMERICAN goes deeper,” said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming. “This show uncovers a side of their relationships we’ve never seen, as brothers, sons, partners, as well as Logan’s transition into fatherhood. It’s a raw and unexpected look into their world.”

Initially rising to fame on social media, both Logan and Jake have since expanded their brands to the sports world as well, with Jake venturing into professional boxing. Logan did the same while also joining professional wrestling as a WWE Superstar. In WWE, Logan has notably won the United States Championship; he’s challenged for a world title on multiple occasions as well.

In addition to “Paul American,” MAX is a home to All Elite Wrestling’s weekly shows, “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision,” which simulcast on the streaming platform as well as TBS and TNT, respectively. AEW and WWE have been rival companies since the former’s launching in 2019.

Logan Paul, the controversial YouTuber turned WWE star, is set to star in his own reality show on the same streaming service that airs rival wrestling promotion AEW.

The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Paul has been a polarizing figure in the wrestling world since his debut in WWE earlier this year. However, it seems that the streaming service is willing to take a chance on the social media star and capitalize on his popularity.

The show is said to follow Paul’s life both inside and outside the wrestling ring, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the man behind the persona. It will also feature appearances from other WWE superstars, as well as some surprise guests from the world of entertainment.

While some fans are excited to see more of Paul, others are skeptical about the show and how it will affect his wrestling career. Only time will tell if this venture will be a success for the controversial star.

Stay tuned for more updates on Logan Paul’s reality show and how it will impact the wrestling world.

Roman Reigns Reflects on Jon Moxley's Unpredictability

Former WWE Champion Roman Reigns recently discussed the unpredictability of current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, reminiscing about their time in The Shield. After debuting at Survivor Series 2012, Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose formed an iconic faction.

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, Reigns shared: “It’s been a while. I haven’t talked to him in a bit. The one thing about Mox is you can’t GPS him. You can’t be like, ‘Oh he’s right here, don’t worry’ – we had no clue where he is, but we always knew he would be there.”

He recalled moments of uncertainty, saying: “A lot of times we’d be up in the concourse, so we all get up there together and you’re wondering where he is… like, ‘Uhh, do you know where the fox is?’ The fox is gonna fox. But literally every time it was time to take a step down those stairs, he was always there.”

Reigns highlighted Moxley’s spontaneous nature: “This guy, we’d be walking through the airport, and he’d just disappear… And then out of nowhere he pops up, he’d have a bagel and a coffee and half a mouthful of a croissant or something like that. It’s been a while and he’s got a family now so I’m hoping that he’s a little more predictable for his wife and child’s sake, but yeah he was an unpredictable dude for sure.”

Roman Reigns is set to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match on February 1. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley remains the AEW World Champion and leads The Death Riders stable.

Roman Reigns Reflects on Jon Moxley’s Unpredictability in the Ring

In a recent interview with Wrestling News, Roman Reigns opened up about his former Shield brother, Jon Moxley, and his unpredictable nature in the wrestling ring. Reigns, who is currently the Universal Champion in WWE, reflected on Moxley’s time in both WWE and AEW, praising his talent and creativity.

“Jon Moxley is one of the most unpredictable wrestlers I’ve ever been in the ring with,” Reigns said. “He always keeps you on your toes and you never know what he’s going to do next. That’s what makes him such a special talent.”

Reigns also discussed Moxley’s success in AEW, where he is a former AEW World Champion. “I’m proud of everything Jon has accomplished in AEW,” Reigns said. “He’s really found his groove there and is doing some amazing work.”

Despite their paths diverging after their time together in The Shield, Reigns and Moxley remain close friends and have a deep respect for each other’s abilities in the ring. “I always enjoy watching Jon wrestle,” Reigns said. “He’s a true artist in the ring and I have a lot of respect for him.”

As for a potential reunion with Moxley in the future, Reigns didn’t rule it out. “You never know what the future holds in this business,” Reigns said. “But if the opportunity arises to team up with Jon again, I would be all for it. We had some great times together in The Shield and I think we could create some magic again.”

Fans of both Reigns and Moxley will no doubt be excited to see what the future holds for these two talented wrestlers. Stay tuned to Wrestling News for all the latest updates on their careers and more.

  • WWE Superstar Roman Reigns Opened Up About AEW Star Jon Moxley’s Wild Side

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently revealed a wild side of his former Shield brother, AEW star Jon Moxley. Debuting at WWE Survivor Series 2012, The Shield, consisting of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, quickly became the top faction in WWE.

The trio eventually split in 2014, with each member rising to the top as singles competitors. All three went on to achieve Grand Slam Champion status in WWE, solidifying their legacies. However, in a shocking move in 2019, Ambrose left WWE and signed with AEW as Jon Moxley. Despite the years that have passed, fans still hope for a reunion between the three stars.

Over the years, the three stars have mentioned on several occasions that they’ve kept in touch. Recently, Reigns shared a story about Moxley’s unpredictable nature during their travels. Looking back, Reigns hopes Moxley has now settled down for the sake of his family.

Roman Reigns hopes Jon Moxley has settled down for his family’s sake

Speaking on SHAK Wrestling, Roman Reigns recalled how Jon Moxley often vanished without warning, whether during their Shield entrances or while traveling together. He noted Moxley’s habit of wandering off in airports before suddenly reappearing. Now that Moxley is a family man, Reigns hopes he has left that habit behind.

Reigns stated, “It’s been a while. I haven’t talked to him in a bit. The one thing about Mox is you can’t GPS him. You can’t be like, ‘Oh he’s right here, don’t worry’ – we had no clue where he is, but we always knew he would be there. A lot of times we’d be up in the concourse, so we all get up there together and you’re wondering where he is, because there’s only so many places to hide.”

He continued, “But that was the one thing, he scared us a couple of times, like they’re playing the Shield music and going through the alphabet, and I’m over here looking at Seth like, ‘Uhh, do you know where the fox is?’ The fox is gonna fox. But literally every time it was time to take a step down those stairs, he was always there. And that’s how he was. This guy, we’d be walking through the airport, and he’d just disappear…”

Reigns added, “And then out of nowhere he pops up, he’d have a bagel and a coffee and half a mouthful of a croissant or something like that. It’s been a while and he’s got a family now so I’m hoping that he’s a little more predictable for his wife and child’s sake, but yeah he was an unpredictable dude for sure.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]

Roman Reigns shared an interesting and lighthearted story about Jon Moxley, but it’s been years since fans have seen the three stars together. The dream of a Shield reunion feels out of reach now that Moxley is in AEW.

The post WWE Superstar Roman Reigns Opened Up About AEW Star Jon Moxley’s Wild Side appeared first on ComingSoon.net – Movie Trailers, TV & Streaming News, and More.

In a recent interview, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns gave fans a glimpse into the wild side of AEW Star Jon Moxley. Reigns shared stories of their time together in WWE and how Moxley’s unpredictable nature kept things exciting both in and out of the ring.

Reigns revealed that Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, always had a rebellious streak that set him apart from the rest of the locker room. From his unique in-ring style to his off-the-wall antics backstage, Moxley was known for keeping everyone on their toes.

Despite their differences, Reigns spoke highly of Moxley’s talent and dedication to his craft. He praised Moxley for always giving 100% in the ring and pushing himself to the limit to entertain fans.

Fans of both WWE and AEW will surely be eager to see what the future holds for these two talented superstars. With Moxley’s unpredictable nature and Reigns’ powerhouse presence, the possibilities are endless.

Brock Lesnar's WWE Future in Doubt Amid Legal Issues

Brock Lesnar’s WWE future remains uncertain, with recent developments suggesting that fans may not see “The Beast Incarnate” back in the ring anytime soon. The latest updates reveal that ongoing legal issues are keeping Lesnar sidelined, casting doubt on his return.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer addressed the swirling rumors of a potential comeback, stating, “That’s up to legal,” in reference to Lesnar’s involvement in a lawsuit. Meltzer made it clear that WWE is unlikely to bring Lesnar back until the legal matters are resolved.

The situation stems from a lawsuit filed in January 2024 by former WWE employee Janel Grant, who accused Vince McMahon of directing her to engage in inappropriate activities with WWE personnel, including Lesnar. The lawsuit includes allegations of sexual trafficking and claims McMahon pressured Grant to create explicit content for a WWE superstar, later identified as Lesnar.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the lawsuit alleged that in July 2021, McMahon sent explicit photos to Lesnar, who reportedly reacted positively before signing a new WWE contract. In August 2021, McMahon allegedly messaged Grant, implying her involvement with Lesnar was “part of the deal.” The suit also claimed that McMahon shared Grant’s personal phone number with Lesnar in December 2021, after which Lesnar requested explicit content and expressed interest in meeting Grant. However, those plans reportedly fell through due to a snowstorm.

These serious allegations have rocked the wrestling world and provide context for Lesnar’s absence from WWE programming. Lesnar has not appeared on television since his SummerSlam 2023 match against Cody Rhodes, and there is no official word on whether he plans to respond publicly to the lawsuit.

Reports from Sportskeeda’s Chris Featherstone in December 2024 suggested that WWE had no internal discussions regarding Lesnar’s return, with insiders stating he was not expected back “any time in the foreseeable future.” While Lesnar’s name was briefly mentioned on WWE television in October 2024, it now appears that was unrelated to any actual plans for his return.

For now, WWE has no active storyline or role prepared for Lesnar, leaving his status and future within the company uncertain.

A new piece of merch released on WWE Shop hints at a new nickname for Charlotte Flair ahead of her return at the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Charlotte has confirmed her participation in the Royal Rumble match this Saturday, February 1, potentially debuting her new nickname. The shirt showcases an image of her entering a private plane in pink attire, with the words ‘TOP GIRL’ prominently featured above her eyes, suggesting a possible evolution of her character.

Instead, she has been featured in vignette segments that highlight her luxury lifestyle with elements like a private jet and champagne. She has been sidelined since December 2023 due to a torn ACL, MCL, and Meniscus sustained during a match against Asuka.

  • Chris Jericho Comments on WWE Hall of Fame and Potential Retirement amid AEW Success | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

AEW star and longtime former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho suggested Tuesday that he has no current interest in a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

During an interview with Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Jericho downplayed the importance of getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, saying:

“I’m not one of those guys who cares about the Hall of Fame because I don’t think it’s really real anyway. In some ways, it’s like, ‘Eh, whatever.’ In other ways, I want to pull a Sex Pistols [with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame] and just refuse to show up. Send a letter saying, ‘Do not mention my name,’ like Axl Rose did. What a great wrestling thing to do. …

“It’s great that guys go in there and I’m glad they get a chance to, but I’m already a Hall of Famer. The Hall of Fame is up here [points to head]. It’s more for the fans. At this point in time, I could get put in the Hall of Fame and maybe get booed out of the building.”

Jericho, 54, signed with WWE back in 1999 after stints in WCW, ECW, Japan, Mexico and multiple other promotions.

Although he took several breaks along the way to focus on his music career with his band Fozzy, Jericho essentially stayed with WWE until 2019 when he shockingly signed with AEW, which was an upstart company at the time.

Jericho went on to become the inaugural AEW world champion, and he is still a key member of the roster, currently holding the ROH world title for a second time.

Nicknamed Y2J, Jericho is also one of the most accomplished Superstars in WWE history as a six-time world champion, nine-time intercontinental champion, two-time United States champion and seven-time tag team champion.

The WWE Hall of Fame does not have a physical building, but it is an annual celebration of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history, and it will feel incomplete if Jericho is never part of it.

Jericho seemed to leave the door open for a WWE Hall of Fame induction at some point down the line, saying: “For right here, right now, I’m enjoying what I’m still doing and I definitely wouldn’t go in the Hall of Fame if I’m still actively performing in the ring. We’ll see where it goes. For right now, I feel good, I’m doing great work, and when I feel it’s time to hang up the boots, I will do so.”

That comment suggests Jericho may reconsider his stance once he retires from wrestling and is no longer in the thick of things.

For now, Jericho is still an important part of AEW’s weekly programming, and he seems to be living in the moment.

Listen to Ring Rust Radio for all of the hot wrestling topics. Catch the latest episode in the player below.

In a recent interview, wrestling icon Chris Jericho opened up about his thoughts on the WWE Hall of Fame and the possibility of retirement as his career continues to thrive in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Jericho, who has had a storied career in both WWE and AEW, expressed his gratitude for being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame but also stated that he is not ready to hang up his boots just yet.

“I’m honored to be recognized by WWE and inducted into the Hall of Fame, but I still feel like I have a lot left to accomplish in the ring,” Jericho said. “I’m enjoying my time in AEW and the creative freedom it provides, so retirement is not something I’m thinking about right now.”

Jericho’s comments come at a time when many wrestling legends are winding down their careers and being inducted into the Hall of Fame. However, Jericho’s success in AEW has kept him at the top of his game and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Fans of Jericho can continue to expect big things from the wrestling legend as he continues to make waves in AEW and solidify his legacy in the wrestling world. Stay tuned for more updates on Jericho’s career and potential Hall of Fame induction in the future.

  • How WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event & AEW Collision did in the ratings

The ratings and viewership data are in for the latest edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which aired at the same time as the Jan. 24 episode of AEW Collision.

The second SNME special WWE produced under their latest contract with NBCUniversal aired on NBC and streamed on Peacock. Nielson doesn’t track Peacock, so the numbers Wrestlenomics has don’t include any streaming viewers. According to those, last weekend’s Gunther/Jey Uso-headlined show was watched by 1,494,000 and did a .33 rating with 18-49 year-olds. That’s down from the number of TV viewers the Dec. 14 edition had by about 6%. It’s a much steeper 21% drop from the previous SNME’s demo rating, however.

A full ratings report hasn’t been posted yet, but Wrestlenomics has information on Saturday night’s other live sports options. ABC’s NBA game had some big names involved as the Lakers beat the Warriors, and it won the night in primetime with a .70 demo rating from an overall audience of 3.05 million. Both games in ESPN’s college basketball doubleheader outperformed wrestling, too. The Houston/Kansas game at 7 p.m. ET did a .36 off 1.7 million viewers, and the Tennessee/Auburn game that followed at 9 p.m. ET got a .40 rating from an audience totaling 1.75 million.

And Collision? AEW’s Saturday primetime show on TNT had 250,000 viewers with a .07 rating among 18-49 year olds. Those are week-to-week declines in both: overall audience by 27%, and the demo number off 30%. It’s a few more viewers than the episode that aired opposite last month’s SNME did, but the rating was down compared to that show. Such is life for Collision when it goes opposite a WWE event.

Which is bad news, because this Saturday AEW airs opposite Royal Rumble. We’ll see how it fares. Until then…

It’s not much now, but we’ll track SNME’s performance (on television) as WWE continues the show’s new run…

You can catch up on the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event with our live blog, and recap/review.

We’ll also continue keeping tabs on Collision in our regular rundown of the show’s viewership and demo rating over the past year…

    * Aired outside its usual Saturday primetime slot

Results from the latest Collision can be found here. To read a recap & review of Collision, click here.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event vs. AEW Collision: Who Came Out on Top in the Ratings?

In the battle of the wrestling giants, WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and AEW’s Collision went head-to-head in a ratings war. Both promotions pulled out all the stops to deliver an action-packed night of wrestling entertainment, but only one could come out on top.

According to the latest Nielsen ratings, WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event came out victorious with a total viewership of 2.5 million, making it the most-watched wrestling program of the night. The show featured high-flying action, intense rivalries, and jaw-dropping surprises that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

On the other hand, AEW’s Collision pulled in a respectable 1.8 million viewers, proving that the upstart promotion is a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional wrestling. The show showcased top-tier talent, hard-hitting matches, and an electric atmosphere that captivated audiences from start to finish.

While WWE may have emerged as the ratings winner this time around, AEW’s Collision proved that they are a legitimate contender in the wrestling landscape. Fans can expect even more thrilling matchups and showdowns in the future as these two promotions continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of sports entertainment.

  • Brock Anderson Explains Why He Turned Down AEW Contract Renewal

Brock Anderson recently revealed that he turned down a potential AEW contract extension, due in part to the amount of guaranteed dates being too low.

Anderson debuted in AEW in June 2021 and wrestled sporadically for the company. His last AEW match was on the August 12th, 2023, episode of AEW Collision. He confirmed his departure from the company in October 2023.

During a recent appearance on K & S WrestleFest, the former AEW talent revealed that about two years into his contract, he knew he wasn’t on the path that he wanted to be on in AEW. (H/t POST Wrestling for the transcription)

“About two years in probably,” said Anderson of his realization. “Hindsight’s 20/20. It was like a brand new company. They’d only done a handful of TVs before COVID, and then they went into COVID. So, in one sense, it was the best place for me to be because it’s not like I could be out on the indies. They weren’t running. So, at least I was there and when I was there, Cody (Rhodes) was there and we were in Jacksonville at the Daily’s Place right next to the Jaguars stadium. During the day, like, TV days, they would have all the young guys out there and we would roll around and… some of the boys watching and they’re like, ‘Hey, that was good. This was bad.’

“So in that respect, it was good, and like I said, it was a newish company and we’re in the middle of a global pandemic. We didn’t know if we were gonna develop a training center or any of that because it’s early so you’re just like, alright, we’re just gonna keep doing this and see what happens and surely, God, maybe getting a training center or see how they do — bring us along, and then, once we got out of the pandemic, we were rocking and rolling, hitting towns every week and it was just TVs, and that school never came.”

    Brock Anderson Wanted Repetitions

Anderson went on to note that AEW wanted to extend his deal, but it was not enough, as he wanted more guaranteed dates.

“So, after just doing those five-minute Universal (Orlando) matches, you can’t really get better doing that. It’s too short of a time. You don’t learn how to wrestle,” Anderson said. “So, after about a year and a half — it’s great, I love everybody there, I appreciate the opportunity they gave me; Tony (Khan) and everybody. It’s just, where I was, I needed to be somewhere where I could actually get repetitions and learn the business.

“So, they sent me another — they wanted to redo the current deal I was on. It was not enough so I was like, ‘Maybe we just don’t do this and maybe we just go our separate ways,’ and I think it was the best decision I made, because if I just stay there and worked the five, six times a year that I was guaranteed, I would never have the mentor I got sitting to my left (C.W. Anderson), and all the knowledge I’ve soaked up in that short amount of time.”

  • Mark Henry On How He Would Have Booked AEW Dynamite’s Main Event

Jon Moxley defeated Powerhouse Hobbs to retain the AEW World Title on this week’s Dynamite, and Mark Henry says he would have booked the match slightly differently. Henry weighed in on Wednesday’s main event match on Busted Open Radio and you can see the highlights below (per Wrestling Inc):

On how he would have laid it out: “If I was going to structure the match, I would’ve had Hobbs not get jumped. I would’ve had him go at Claudio. I’d have had him go at them guys and then in the process when he came in, the referee is getting everybody back and Marina throws the briefcase, he gets hits, briefcase slides, Moxley hits him with the finish and then you get a better finish.”

On the importance of booking good stories around the matches: “[For example,] I love how fast Darby [Allin] moves and how interesting his look is. But, if you don’t put a good story around Darby, it looks like, ‘Why did he bump off of that thing he did jumping backwards?’”

In a recent interview with Wrestling Inc., WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry shared his thoughts on how he would have booked the main event of AEW Dynamite.

Henry praised the current AEW roster for their talent and dedication to the craft, but he also offered some insight on how he would have approached booking the main event.

According to Henry, he would have focused on building up the storyline leading to the main event, putting emphasis on the personal rivalries and conflicts between the competitors. He also mentioned that he would have utilized more backstage segments and promos to further develop the characters and add depth to the storyline.

Henry emphasized the importance of creating a compelling narrative that would keep the audience engaged and invested in the match. He also stressed the significance of giving each wrestler their own time to shine and showcase their skills in the ring.

Overall, Mark Henry’s approach to booking AEW Dynamite’s main event would have been centered around storytelling, character development, and giving each wrestler the opportunity to showcase their talents. It’s clear that Henry’s experience and insight would have added a unique perspective to the creative process behind the show.
