Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov recently took on network host Sean Hannity after he pressed her to weigh in on President Joe Biden’s lone White House term, which is set to come to an end with President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next week.
On Friday’s broadcast of the show “Hannity,” Tarlov pointed to gas prices dropping, the nation’s 4.1% unemployment rate, growth in gross domestic product and a decrease in crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border, before calling on Hannity not to “deny the reality” of outcomes that the Biden White House “oversaw in the end.”
“There’s a reason that Donald Trump wants to try to take credit for these things,” she said.
“And there’s also a reason that now, Donald Trump, like in his Time interview … admitted, oh, well, prices are really hard to get down.”
She then pointed to Vice President-elect JD Vance’s recent call to “stabilize” prices and Tom Homan, Trump’s pick to be border czar in his new administration, reportedly telling Republicans to adjust their expectations around upcoming deportation efforts.
“They’re backing off of the promises that they made to the American people because they know they’re not going to be able to achieve them,” she said.
Hannity predicted that history will “not be kind” to Biden, whose most recent and final approval rating matched the lowest of his presidency.
Tarlov gave Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris a grade of “B” when asked how they performed in their four years in the White House. She went on to say that there’s been “a lot” done for the country under Biden and Harris through the so-called PACT Act and the CHIPS and Science Act, as well as the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
“[Those are] very, very, very good for this country, but there’s no doubt, they’re leaving in a cloud of disapproval,” Tarlov said.

Fox News’ liberal commentator Jessica Tarlov isn’t one to shy away from calling out her conservative colleagues, and she delivered a blunt reality check to Sean Hannity on a recent segment about President Joe Biden.
During a discussion on Hannity’s show, Tarlov challenged Hannity’s repeated attacks on Biden’s policies and leadership, pointing out that the president’s approval ratings have remained steady despite Fox News’ relentless criticism.
Tarlov emphasized that Biden’s infrastructure plan has broad bipartisan support among voters, and that his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic has been praised by health experts. She also noted that Biden’s approval ratings on issues like the economy and foreign policy have been consistently higher than those of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump.
Hannity tried to deflect Tarlov’s arguments by bringing up unrelated topics like crime rates and the border crisis, but Tarlov remained focused on the facts and statistics that supported her points.
In the end, Tarlov’s data-driven approach and no-nonsense attitude left Hannity struggling to defend his anti-Biden rhetoric, proving that even on Fox News, reality can’t always be ignored.
