“I think about it at times, like Braxton he drinks his water and it’s quiet,” Earle said. (32:21) “But, like some people, it must be like the anatomy, make a really loud noise. And, like for me, I don’t know if I’d be able to date him. Like now, if he started gulping, I wouldn’t break up with him. But, like in the beginning, it would make things different.”
Earle previously made headlines for her views on dealing with trollers on social media. Earle claimed she developed a “thick skin” for trolling, as she has been on social media for so long.
Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend Alix Earle opened up about dealing with social media trolling
As a long-time social media influencer, Alix Earle has faced multiple encounters with social media trolling over the years. However, she has developed a “thick skin” against these trolls. The SI model talked about the same during the Jan. 16th episode of “Hot Mess:”
“I do an interview or someone else posts a video of me or a clip of me and like reading for the first time, people being like, ‘she’s so mid or she’s so this or she’s so that,’ I was like, ‘Oh my God. Oh my God.’ And then I’m realizing like I don’t need to be, like I never claimed.” [25:14]
“That’s what gets in your head because I’m like, ‘Wait, was I supposed to be like Margot fu***ng Robbie? I’m literally this normal girl from New Jersey. I mean, social media is like a whole another piece. It has taught me to definitely have thick skin, that’s for sure.”
Earle was among the Los Angeles residents who left their houses and accommodations due to the recent wildfire. The SI model later recapped her “devastating” experience with emergency evacuation in LA.

Being a celebrity couple, Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle have certain conditions that they take care of before taking another couple on a “double date.” Earle recently opened up about a major pointer from one of these conditions, during her podcast.
In Thursday’s episode of the “Hot Mess” podcast, Earle opened up about the idea of “double dates.” However, Earle revealed that she and Berrios only go on double dates with couples that are “established.” Earle said:
“We’ll double dates with couples that are already like very established. I don’t think we’ve double dated as like a first date. I feel like it’s not weird. Like if we were to double date like say I had like Sally and then like Braxton had a friend for Sally you know. So like we’re the established. I feel like double dating can be tricky if you’re both first timers.” (42:37)

Before talking about her preferences with “double dates,” Alix Earle revealed a bad habit that she could not tolerate having in Braxton Berrios. Sharing specifics into the bad habit that would have ended their relationship during initial dating days, the SI model said:
“I think about it at times, like Braxton he drinks his water and it’s quiet. But like some people, it must be like the anatomy, make a really loud noise. And like for me, I don’t know if I’d be able to date him. Like now if he started gulping, I wouldn’t break up with him. But like in the beginning it would make things different.” (32:21)
Alix Earle revealed being in love with Braxton Berrios’ ‘protective’ nature
When it comes to his dating life, Braxton Berrios has a “protective” nature that his girlfriend Alix Earle admires. If anything, Earle loves this character trait of the wide receiver. During an episode of the “Hot Mess” podcast on January 10, Earle said:
“I’d say Braxton’s very very protective but he’s not jealous because he knows that he has me and he knows that I’m not going anywhere. I’m not turning my head for anyone. So like he might feel that sense of security with you. So he’s not jealous and that’s great.”
Before praising Braxton Berrios’ protective nature, Alix Earle opened up about dealing with social media trolling. The SI model confessed to having developed a “thick skin” against the criticism on social media.

Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend Alix Earle recently opened up about the one condition she always considers before agreeing to a ‘double date’ with her boyfriend. In a candid interview with People magazine, Earle revealed that she always makes sure that the other couple shares her and Berrios’ love for outdoor activities.“I love being outdoors and going on adventures with Braxton, so it’s really important to me that the other couple we’re going on a double date with feels the same way,” Earle explained. “Whether it’s hiking, camping, or just going for a bike ride, I want to make sure we’re all on the same page when it comes to enjoying nature together.”
Earle’s love for the outdoors is well-documented on her social media, where she often shares photos and videos of her and Berrios exploring new hiking trails, camping in the wilderness, or simply enjoying a picnic in the park. Social media can be a tough place, especially when people feel free to judge you based on a single post or video. Alix Earle, girlfriend of Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios shared how the first time she saw herself being criticized online, it was a shock to her system. On her Hot Mess podcast, Alix has been refreshingly candid about how she’s learned to take in social media criticism and why she feels she’s developed a “thick skin” over the years.
Facing the Online Critics
No doubt that the limelight attracts its fair share of trolls. From interviews to random clips that pop up online, Alix has had her share of hurtful comments.
“I do an interview or someone else posts a video of me or a clip of me and like reading for the first time, people being like, ‘she’s so mid or she’s so this or she’s so that’. I was like ‘oh my God. oh my God’. And then I’m realizing like I don’t need to be, like I never claimed.”
She went on to explain how social media forced her to build a tougher exterior, learning to ignore the negativity.
“That’s what gets in your head because I’m like, ‘wait was I supposed to be like Margot fu***ng Robbie. I’m literally this normal girl from New Jersey. I mean social media is like a whole another piece. It has taught me to definitely have thick skin that’s for sure.”Braxton Berrios: Her Rock
In addition to learning to brush off the trolls, Alix talked about how much she values Braxton’s supportive and protective nature.
“I’d say Braxton’s very very protective but he’s not jealous because he knows that he has me and he knows that I’m not going anywhere. I’m not turning my head for anyone. So like he might feel that sense of security with you. So he’s not jealous and that’s great.”Alix Earle’s conversation on social media trolling and her personal journey of building thick skin is quite inspiring. She has shown how, although it may be difficult to deal with online negativity, staying true to oneself and depending on a great partner like Braxton helps.
Her message to her fans? Be kind to yourself, embrace who you are, and don’t let the trolls get to you.

In the world of the NFL, wives and girlfriends of players (WAGs) often find themselves the target of online trolling and criticism. Unfortunately, Alix Earle, the girlfriend of NFL player Braxton Berrios, is no exception to this trend. Despite facing harsh comments and negativity online, Earle has developed thick skin and learned how to handle the criticism with grace. The scrutiny began when Earle first started dating Berrios, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. As their relationship became public, Earle found herself the subject of judgment and criticism from fans and online trolls. From her appearance to her personality, nothing seemed off-limits for those looking to tear her down.
Instead of letting the negativity get to her, Earle chose to rise above it and focus on her own happiness and well-being. She realized that the opinions of strangers on the internet were not a reflection of her worth or value as a person. With the support of Berrios and her loved ones, she was able to build up her self-confidence and develop a thick skin to deflect the hurtful comments.
Through it all, Earle has remained strong and resilient in the face of online trolling. She has learned to brush off the negativity and focus on the positive aspects of her life and relationship with Berrios. By choosing to prioritize her own mental health and well-being, she has been able to navigate the challenges of being an NFL WAG with grace and resilience.
In the world of professional sports, trolling and online criticism are unfortunately all too common. However, Alix Earle’s story serves as a reminder that it is possible to develop thick skin and rise above the negativity. By focusing on self-love and surrounding oneself with supportive people, anyone can weather the storm of online criticism and emerge stronger on the other side.

You’ve likely seen all iterations of skinny jeans—cigarette legs, slim cuts, jeggings, you name it. But in 2025, there’s a new version to set your eyes on: The Alix.
A collaboration between FRAME Denim and TikTok star Alix Earle, this new silhouette—which comes in two colorways, Flaunt and Black Coated, and is available starting January 23—banks on the comeback of skinny jeans in an era dominated by barrel legs and baggy fits. And, given that virtually everything the influencer touches turns into trending gold, it’ll be no surprise if the slimming style sells out.
Ahead of the collaboration’s launch, Earle spoke with ELLE.com to discuss working with FRAME Denim, what she learned while designing The Alix, and, most importantly, her thoughts on the return of skinny jeans.
Why do you think skinny jeans are due for a comeback?
I know that there’s been a wave of baggier jeans, which I also love, but I’ve always had a pair of skinny jeans in my closet, which is how this idea came to be. I wore skinny jeans to a football game in one of my videos, and I had so many people in my comments freaking out about the skinny jean. I thought that it would be such a fun moment to have a campaign [with FRAME Denim] around bringing the skinny jean back.
Skinny jeans most recently had a moment in the mid-2000s. How do you feel about trends from that era making a return?
I feel like fashion always tends to repeat itself in a sense, and I think trends are fun to follow. But something I’ve learned over the past few years, as I’m trying to get a little bit more into the fashion space, is to wear what works for you and what’s comfortable for you. That’s a really big thing I’m embracing with this campaign.
I definitely had a ton of skinny jeans when I was younger, and I probably style them a little bit differently now than I used to. But I think it’s always fun recycling old trends and bringing them into a new day and age.
What was the most important lesson you learned while working on this collab?
It’s OK to take risks. I think that’s a big thing in fashion as well—not being afraid to step outside of the box or step outside of the norm. Over the past few years, I’ve been able to work with many different stylists and experts in fashion, and the main thing I’ve taken away is just to do what makes you happy and embrace your own sense of style. If you’re following along with too many other people, then it gets a little lost in the sauce.
You had a say in the fit and feel of these jeans. For you, what stands out about The Alix?
This pair of skinny jeans is super comfortable. That’s a big thing. I think baggy jeans have become so trendy because of their comfort, so these are a nice fit. They’re not too low-waisted or high-waisted; I think they sit right in the middle and fit just right.
If you had to choose one of the two washes for The Alix, which would you choose, and why?
I would probably choose the darker wash—the Black Coated. I always love to wear a skinny jean with a heel and possibly on a night out, so I think those are the ones that I’ll probably end up reaching for more.
In general, how would you style these jeans?
They’re pretty versatile, but I’ll be sticking to a heel or boot on the bottom—I don’t think I would really be wearing them with sneakers, which I used to do in the past! On top, whatever I’m feeling. You can dress them up with a blazer or a jacket, or you can wear a baggy or tight shirt.
How do you think becoming an influencer has affected your personal style?
I’m still trying to figure out my personal style, but having a big audience has definitely helped me along the way, because I’m receiving so much feedback in real time. I think I went through a period where I was listening to the feedback a little too much and trying to please other people over myself, so being an influencer has definitely given me this newfound sense of confidence in what I like to wear and staying true to that. You’re definitely open to a lot more opinions—when [I wear] something that doesn’t look great, my audience tells me. It’s always good to have that kind of honest criticism, but overall, it’s helped me nail down exactly what I like to wear and feel confident in that.
With that in mind, how would you describe your personal style today?
I always love to integrate a little bit of sexiness into my style, but I still love to be classy and chic at times. That said, I’m still so young, so I definitely like to be playful. And I’m open to trying more things, too, like showing a little bit more skin—but that might be because I’ve lived in Miami for so long.
The Alix jeans reflect that personal style in that they can be worn in a classy, chic way, but they also lean into the sexiness with the tight fit of the skinny silhouette, and they’re flattering. I always think my butt looks better in skinny jeans than it does in baggy mom jeans. Also, they go great with heels—which, if I could wear a heel all the time, I would.

Alix Earle Brings Back Skinny Jeans in Topless Frame Campaign
Skinny jeans are so back.
On Jan. 23, Frame reintrouced the polarizing trend that divides generations with a modernized silhouette designed in collaboration with TikTok star and purveyor of Gen-Z culture, Alix Earle.
“The Alix” jeans, created with a slim (but stretchy) and high-waisted fit, take center stage in a sexy campaign with a rock-‘n’-roll-meets-indie-sleaze vibe photographed by beloved photographer duo Inez and Vinoodh.
Earle, 24, rocks some of her boldest glam looks yet in the images with her platinum blonde hair done up with Brigitte Bardot-level volume and her eyebrows bleached to barely there status.
In one photo, she poses topless, wearing nothing but the coated black skinnies ($148) with tall clog heels. She also models the classic mid-wash denim version ($128) with a striped T-shirt and black pumps.

Both styles are available to shop at Frame stores globally and on the brand’s website starting Jan. 23. Starting now until Mar. 31, a portion of sales from “The Alix” jeans will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles in support of the recovery efforts amid the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfires that began on Jan. 7.

Earle has been serving as a muse for Frame, co-created by Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, since starring in the winter 2024 campaign. Gisele Bündchen and Amelia Gray Hamlin have also starred in past campaigns for the L.A.-based brand.
“Having ‘The Alix’ skinny jean available at Frame feels like a major milestone moment for me. I’ve secretly kept a pair in my closet for years, and when I first met with Erik in 2023 to discuss a potential Frame collaboration, I couldn’t resist pitching the idea of bringing this classic (although some might say controversial) wardrobe staple back,” Earle shares in a press release.

She adds that the design process was “fun” especially because she’s “all for making or breaking the rules in fashion.”
On the collaboration Torstensson, who is also Frame’s creative director, adds in a statement: “Frame was conceived and launched in 2012 with one jean, the skinny de Jeanne, our take on the skinny jean in premium denim in classic blue. It became a best-seller globally, launched our wholesale business and was worn by all the supermodels off duty. To be able to create the comeback of the silhouette, with Alix Earle, the content creator of our generation, feels so right.”
