Over the last quarter, the company’s Cloud Intelligence Group has returned to growth, with sales rising 7% year-over-year to 29.6 billion yuan ($4.2 billion), driven by strong public cloud growth and a triple-digit increase in AI-related product revenue. There’s a possibility that the company’s AI initiatives could potentially see backing from the Chinese government, amid U.S. restrictions on advanced semiconductor chip exports to China and the growing geopolitical importance of AI. In the AI space, Alibaba is developing open-source large language models, allowing developers greater flexibility to build custom solutions using its technology. This strategy could encourage developers to adopt Alibaba’s cloud services for deploying these models.
Notably, BABA stock has performed worse than the broader market in each of the last 4 years. Returns for the stock were -49% in 2021, -26% in 2022, -11% in 2023, and 12% in 2024. “Oh, that is not a hold at all Jim (Nantz),” Romo said. “He just swipes his hands down. A little trap technique which is like when you try to put your hands on and you swipe them down. That’s a terrible call.”

Then, as the second quarter came to a close, the Bills benefited from another controversial call. This time, officials flagged Baltimore cornerback Tre’Davious White for pass interference on a pass to Keon Coleman. But it was White who got shoved to the ground on the play.
White had man-to-man coverage on the go route down the left sideline. The two were hand fighting as Allen’s pass landed, and Coleman shoved White to the ground by his helmet. The pass fell incomplete.
With contact initiated by both players, officials could have deemed the play a no-call and moved on to the next down. Or they could have conceivably called offensive pass interference for the shove by Coleman. Finding defensive pass interference there is hard to explain.
But defensive pass interference was the call, and the Bills were granted a first down and an 18-yard gain to the Baltimore 12-yard line on the spot foul. A no-call would have brought up fourth-and-5 at the 30 and a potential potential 47-yard field-goal attempt in dicey conditions from Tyler Bass. Instead, the Bills scored a touchdown three plays later to extend their lead to 21-10.
The Ravens rallied to make it a one-score game in the second half. But the Bills held on after a late drop by Ravens tight end Mark Andrews on a two-point conversion attempt that would have tied the game.
If there’s any solace, each team benefited from a controversial call. But better officiating all-around would be the biggest benefit to both teams.

Edwards put up 48 points, 12 rebounds, and a block during that span. And Feagin had 28 points, 24 rebounds, seven assists, and ten blocks. In the back court, Te-Hina Paopao continues to be a steady veteran for the Gamecocks finishing with 33 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists this week.
